House Concerts

House concerts and how they work.
1- It's easy, invite Don and he shows up ready to entertain you with his songs and stories.
2. House Concerts usually start around 7:00 pm and end around 9:00 pm with a short break in between. At this time the host will serve refreshments usually coffee, tea and cookies.
3. Usually a $10.00 donation is requested. (Musicians need fuel, food and running shoes for their kids!)
4- The performing artist will have his CDs available for purchase. In Don's case his merchandise will vary depending on what he might be working on in his studio. He's been known to show up with some of his affordable "Fragment" art pieces... just in case someone already has his collection of seven CDs! (He no longer tries to sell his used guitar and mandolin strings!)
Don doesn't have any kid's music out yet...but children love his music!
He has written over 80 songs about living and working in Northern Ontario. You will hear songs, about mining, working on the railroad, his leaky fishing boat and stories about Tom Thomson and The Group of Seven.
